1^st September 2022: Presentation of Henry Wai & Co., Solicitors LLP (Wai Kee Yiu Memorial) Litigation Prize - University of Hong Kong In 2015, our Firm set up a Litigation Prize for the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (P.C.LL.) students of the University of Hong Kong. The Prize is awarded annually to P.C.LL. candidates who achieved the highest average marks in the following courses:- Civil Litigation Criminal Litigation Personal Injury Litigation Property Litigation In February 2022, in remembrance of the late father of Mr Henry Wai, namely, Dr. Wai Kee Yiu [ (B.Sc. (Eng.) 1957 & M.Sc. (Eng.) 1966) (HKU) and Ph.D. (Eng.) (Leeds University) ], a former member of the University Council and former President of Hong Kong University Alumni Association, who passed away in December 2021, the name of the Prize was changed to “Henry Wai & Co., Solicitors LLP (Wai Kee Yiu Memorial) Litigation Prize”. On 1st September 2022, the “Henry Wai & Co., Solicitors LLP (Wai Kee Yiu Memorial) Litigation Prize” was presented by Mr. Anthony Lau, a Partner of our Firm, on behalf of Mr. Henry Wai, to the Awardees at the Academic Conference Room, 11/F., Cheng Yu Tung Tower, the University of Hong Kong. Our Firm will continue to reward the top law students aspiring to be outstanding litigation lawyers in Hong Kong and promote Hong Kong as the leading international and regional dispute resolution centre.
